Summit Retail Solutions is seeking an individual with interest in the sales, promotions, and marketing fields with leadership credentials. The Sales Consultant would work on the sales floor for various roadshows, promotions or events. The ideal representative would have the opportunity to quickly work towards a management role. This individual accomplishes brand awareness by executing live in-store product demonstrations while maintaining strong relationships with our retail partners. This sales position requires excellent customer service and ability to educate prospective customers on the product they are representing. The ideal candidate must have an eagerness to learn the business process.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products through presentation of features and benefits.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results.
Reads from sales scripts.
Informs Customers of deals and promotions.
Advises on Company information.
Manages promotion material such as banners and display.
Manages components of the show.
Handles and is responsible for inventory of product and sales.
Maintains a strong relationship with the retailers we work with.
Upholds compliance standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
Self-motivator with the ability to generate and drive sales.
Demonstrates leadership and supervisory skills.
Demonstrates customer service and selling techniques.
Communicates product knowledge effectively.
Communicates effectively with customers, team and leadership.
Handle multiple tasks concurrently and shift priorities effectively.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 30 lbs.
Availability to work a 40-hour work week (Thursday - Sunday)
Reliable transportation to travel within a 40 mile radius.
