The Barrington Harbor Patrol is a seasonal, part time position working from April to October.
The Harbor Patrol provides guidance and survailance of the harbor including but not limited to:
Safety and plancement of moorings; Maintenance and readiness of the Town?s harbor patrol boat; Patrol Barrington waters to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State and local boating and marine resources, laws and ordinances; Respond to boaters in destress as needed.
Candidates must have a Rhode Island Boating safety certificate or Coast Guard certification.
